Friday 13th June

The rumours were true, 60040 has been outshopped in a stylish new livery, celebrating 100 years of the Teritorial Army. Any logos of EWS seem to be amiss, instead showing DB SCHENKER branding. It is off for a naming at York, as did 60074 previously. It left Toton light engine this afternoon.

Sunday 8th June

60005 is in the wars again with yet more technical issues, this becoming a regular thing since its re-enstatement. Also rumours persist that 60040 is in the paint shop! We'll just have to wait and see.

WEDNESDAY 4TH JUNE

NOT CLASS 60 RELATED, BUT HAVE OBSERVED 56301 PASSING NETHERFIELD JNC YESTERDAY, AND THEN 57601 WITH A SALOON TODAY HEADING TOWARDS LINCOLN. MAKES A CHANGE FROM THE USUAL ACTIVITIES! ALSO, BOTH 60022 AND 60024 ARE MAKING REGULAR TURNS THROUGH NOTTINGHAM LATELY, 024 ALMOST DAILY!
